The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music is an academic/scientific institution founded by the Holy See. The Institute offers various music-liturgical disciplines, with particular attention given to the practical, theoretical and historical aspects expressed in the diverse cultures which comprise the Church. The Institute promotes the awareness and diffusion of the rich heritage of Sacred Music without however ignoring the artistic expressions of modern times. In response to a request made by the Church in Rome, the Pontifical Institute renders a service to the Church in the many different localities around the world by training musicians and by forming teachers of Sacred Music.

Being a Catholic, I have always have this romantic idea of praying in a beautiful sacred church with angelic voices singing somewhere on top of the choir balcony. It's an image rarely found in Indonesia... hehehe...
This is not an attempt to justify why I rarely go to church. hehehehehehehehe.. I'm here to share some of that romantic longing... For more collections, visit: http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/institutions_connected/sacmus/documents/rc_ic_sacmus_sound_en.html#propapa
